



KP Sharma Oli has been elected as the chairperson for the second term from the 10th general convention of CPN-UML.
Out of the total 2,096 votes cast, newly elected Chairman Oli got 1,900 votes while his rival Bhim Rawal got 196 votes.

The counting of votes for the Vice President has started. The UML Election Commission has informed that the votes of the secretary and central member will be counted after that. Initially, there was an attempt to elect a unanimous leadership, but Rawal rejected it.
The voting process was then moved forward. Voting started at 4 in the morning and counting started at 1 in the afternoon.
