Syangja won the 8th Manimukund Running Shield title by defeating District Volleyball Association Nawalpur by 3-1 in the final held at the club’s playground located in Tilottama-2. Although Syangja lost the opening set, he managed to win the title by winning all three sets.
Syangja lost the first set 25-23. Syangja, who came back to the game after winning easily 25-13 in the second set, overturned the situation behind in the third set and won 25-23. Then Syangja managed to win 25-16 in the fourth set. Syangja became the champion for the fifth time.
Along with the title, Syangja received 1 lakh 50 thousand, cup, medal and certificate along with Manimukundaraning Shield. Nawalpur, the runner-up, received a cup, medal and certificate along with 1 lakh rupees.
